hmmmm when did nero jump to version 55 lol ?!? sorry master im just observant here im guessing i have too much time on my hands lol :p :D

maby the nero bugs rubbed off onto you bud !? lol :)

Got it, installed it & cd's created with the earlier version can't be read.Hmmm Damn Gremlins.Had 2 totally gut nero from machine & reinstall Bundled version with drive.DOes any 1 know if ECD Creator 5 Plat With updates will be stable with an Artec WRR 481248.Nero is good, but direct Cd lets me write 2 cdrs.Ahh the happy days... :)

It is the first Nero version since 5.5.9.0 which seems to work almost decently. Not sufficiently tested yet, but it seems to work fairly well.
I don't even want to recall memories from the other versions- simply too traumatic.

Sorry Master.Was'nt talkin about U.Was talkin about myself.Had 2 wipe system & reinstall bcause of virus.Had everythin workin & then noticed the new nero version.After installin, most cd's did'nt work & my drives kept disappering.So the next day was spent settin it all up again.****** software : )Was actually replyin 2 scarecrow but U beat me 2 it.Peace : )

Ps seem 2 remember the same happin with XP just after it came out.Install & no drives.Did'nt use XP after that : )

I'd rate 5.5.9.17 as pretty good - some versions lost features from the Wave editor (or lost it altogher in Win98) and I steered clear of 5.5.10.0 after seeing many bad reports.

If 5.5.10.7 is a real gem, I just might upgrade to it - not bothered about the AAC encoder - I'd grab the free DLL one instead and use it with EAC.
