Need to set temp dir in Burnatonce

I followed the tutorial "Free and easy DVD backup guide"

My problem occours when Burnatonce trys to cache the DVD video files to C:\Windows\Temp

My C: drive is NOT large enough to place 4.7 GB on it.
How can I force Burn at once to point to my H: drive? which is 20GB.

I went to the Burnatonce website. The author has had a problem with the site, and all the forums, and guides are gone.

Thank you for reading this

1)go 2 C:\Program Files\burnatonce
2)edit burnatonce.ini
3)then scan for
TempFolder=C:\Temp which u will have 2 modify
hopes zat helps ;)

Thank you for your reply serjer.
I tried that once.
The entry is here:

[Audio CD]
TempFolder=C:\Temp

I changed it to:

[Data DVD]
TempFolder=H:\Temp
It then changed back to:

[Audio CD]
TempFolder=C:\Temp

It changed the entry by itself. I placed it under [Data DVD] because I thought it needed to be there since I was using the program for DVDR

I'll try placing it into [Audio CD] and try it again.

There is a problem though, when you click Compile, the program starts caching the video files in the background. The only way to see where they are being cached, is to open explorer and look in \windows\temp\
or just by watching the "bytes free" on specied hard drive as they get used up.
Once started, you cannot cancel. Then when/if you run out of space on this HDD you need to cancel, and some files in the burnatonce directory become corrupted. (Described as "lost clusters" when using Norton speed disk).

I'll try above mentioned entry, after searching the registery for any entries of "burnatonce"

[[Edit]]
I tried doing the above and burnatonce insists on using drive C: for caching it's video files. The files made with DVD Shrink are also corrupted when the C: drive runs out of space.
I uninstalled burnatonce again.
Is there another program that will burn the files made with DVD Shrink?

I'm not going to replace my C: drive with a new one, or uninstall a bunch of stuff, and re-install to another drive.
Thanks for reading this,
Jon

I'm running Win 98SE
It is a bit slow, but I used to make SVCDs the old way using 5 programs.
This was 2 yrs ago.

As for this DVD, I started back with DVD Shrink, and got the video files to fit on a 4.7GB DVD using Nero.
After I checked the settings in Nero, described in "Backing up a DVD" tutorial, I had to create these 2 folders:
AUDIO_TS
VIDEO_TS

Then I placed the video files, including the 2 extra ones that DVD Shrink made, into VIDEO_TS

This worked, It played fine on my computer using PowerDVD.

I'm not sure why there are 2 additional files after using DVD Shrink, maybe DVD Shrink forgets to delete the unnessary ones.

It places 1 extra .BUP file and 1 extra .IFO file in VIDEO_TS

I would have shown the directory on here, but I have already erased the DVD-RW that I was using.
I'll just use nero and remeber to place the directorys mentioned above onto the DVD.

Thank you for your reply,
Jon
