actually now that i think of it, im prly gonna be burning ps2 games, do only certain media play in those? thats what i should use for everything i guess

I've used princo and memorex dvds. Tdk,fuji, and some no name brand cds on the ps2 games that I've backed up.

i have no specific media recommendations for ps2s, but if u have an older version ps2, those will only read -r. newer versions will read +r as well.

Joshk6656. hi there and welcome I think you should try the dvdxcopy express its a one button program operation and depending on you system should only take about a half an hour to rip and burn a perfect copy. ;)

Hey joshk6656, Welcome to the forum. The best quality at the fastest time for me to backup a retail dvd is to rip it to the hard drive with dvd decrypter, shrink it with dvd2one, and burn with clonedvd. If you happen to have a dvd that is under 4.7gbs with copy protection, then the easiest way is to use anydvd and clonedvd with a dvd-rom and a dvd burner you can rip it on the fly. If your dvd is under 4.7gbs with no copy protection then I would just use alcohol120% to burn it on the fly.
