Since I upgraded my operating system to xp, my cd copying programs don't work anymore. What is the best freeware out there (keeping in mind that I don't want the program to load any drivers that will conflict with my dvd burner or dvd burner software?

thanks,

What do you want to copy?

plain data CDs: burnatonce (BAO)
Audio CDs: Exact Audio Copy (EAC)
game CDs: :confused: i doubt there is a freeware solution;

and as requested: BAO and EAC doesn't install drivers; they are using XP's native SPTI layer or an already installed ASPI/ASAPI version;

Discdump (needs aspi 4.6) combined with burnatonce can handle safedisc up to v. 2.7 with a suitable writer. The same combination can also cope with dummy file cds and laserlock.

If you don't mind playing from a mounted image, then you can mount a discdump image of any version of safedisc on a daemon tools virtual drive.

There is, however, no freeware solution for securom (any version).

I want to be able to copy music cd's and just be ableto burn files onto a cd compatible with other cd drives.
O.K., then you got the right answers already in the postings above; :)
