Need opinions

I was looking for a progam that is dedicated to music: converting between the popular file types, burning, ripping, CDDB, etc.

I don't want something like ECDC that copies data, vcds, and anything else you can think of.

So I downloaded Easy CD DA Extractor because it seems to fit the bill. Is this a good choice and what others would you recommend I look into?

I find it crap, but if you like it then by all means use it.
Personally I would use EAC (exact audio copy) or a combination of programs also tend to work best. I mean, is it really so hard to use 2/3 small apps compared to 1 big junk?
Right now there is no 1 thing you can use all the time I think (that goes for everything *backup CDs, games, data, ISO, music, mp3, video, blah blah blah) 'cause they all have some issues with something, so you have to mix & match.
Anyhow, just find something you like & once you run into problems, try mixing with something else.
good luck

Agree with shadoe 100% about EAC.

Why do so many search for just "one" piece of software to do all? (Which let's face it is never gonna be good enough at everything anyway)

We can go to the main site here and download almost every single piece of CDRW software made and find for ourselves the best tools for every job we have.

Sounds a much better option to me. ;)
