Need help with shortcut for drive that contains "RestoreCD"

I have made a restore CD with a program called "RestoreCD". I have created the disc successfully but when it is in my CD-ROM double clicking the SHORTCUT (to the CD-ROM) only gives me an error in the picture. If I double click the drive from within "My Computer" then the program will run as normal.

I have the restore.ini in the same directory as the restore.exe so I don't know why this error occurs. Could somebody help? Again, this only occurs if I click the shortcut to the CD-ROM, not when I click the same drive from within "My Computer".

We need a programming section. I know it has been in some discussions. I think this problem would definitely fall under that catagory as I beleive this to be a problem with my autorun.inf file.

right click on your shortcut > properties > check the drive letter in "execute in" box

I have been comparing my autorun.inf file to others like Adobe Acrobat and Adobe PhotoDeluxe.
For these programs I see: open=AutoPlay.exe -c

What does the -c switch do?

OK, I give up!!

This makes no sense to me, so I'm not going to obsess over it anymore. If somebody understands Windows XP enough to explain this then I would love to hear.

I enabled the 'toolbar' to the desktop. Now, the shortcut of my CD-ROM with the RestoreCD will execute without errors from there! But the actual desktop shortcut of the drive will not! (i.e., actually viewing and double clicking the desktop icon will not work).

Duracell,

Ok, some dumbass using my name 'Wedge' has been posting about this problem and I don't want it to reflect so poorly on the REAL Wedge's intelligence :)

That other guy is gone now, thank god. Because this Wedge knew all along that's what the problem was. I just happened to catch the other 'Wedge' on my computer a moment ago and I see what a ridiculous thread he has created :D

Nonetheless, a big Thank You to you Duracell!!! Problem solved!!

EDIT: I just realized that you actually solved the problem 6 replies ago. Man.....that other 'Wedge' is one slow snail.
