Need help deciding on web cam.....

I thought Id ask for help here since there are so many knowledgeable people in this forum.

What Im after - a web cam that can:

1.) pan, tilt, & possibly zoom
2.) be remotely controlled by my laptop
3.) cost under $200.00 (or close)

I have looked at the Logitech QuickCam Orbit and like the specs, but have read its software leaves alot to be desired, and the X10 looks as tho its somewhat cheaply made. If you have any suggestions, please leave a link to what you think might suit my needs, and any feedback that you have by personal experience. Many thanx in advance!!

http://www.axis.com/ - Expensive, but they work on a variety of connections - a friend of mine has one of the old 200's (fixed, not tracking), and it can operate on Ethernet or serial port (modem), and buffer pictures automatically on a schedule set using standard CRON format - some of their other models use open source linux software, which means there is even a possibility to reprogram them entirely.

The old 200 is a stills shooter, not a video camera - the repeat rate on even the lowest size is quite slow.
