IMHO, NAV as a FW (even their Internet Security Bundle) would not be the choice I would use to protect a server.
The following should both work with W2K (according to their websites they work with Windows 2000 - neither are specific which versions):
Sygate Pro - application based
Kerio - rules based
I use Sygate to protect my W/S as it easy to configure for different applications but for a server would have to go with Kerio as rules based should be more applicable for server.
Loads of info is available on the forum about both apps by using the Search facility.
Of course, if you are really concerned, you could use a Linksys BEFSXR41 firewall (statefull packet inspection) router and setup a Linux firewall with iptables (or ipchains) on a bare system with 2 NICs.
