Need a good Audio studio software

Hi guys, i'm looking for an audio software that can combine wav and midi files together ?! is there such a proggie ?!

Soundforge... and Cooledit Pro also come to mind...
Just watch out for the cost there not cheap....$$$$££££$$$$
