Multisession iso

Hi guys

I have a .nrg... And after studiing it, I think its multissession:
-I converted the 850 Mb .nrg file to a .iso: it was only ~80 Mb big. The first session only?
-With UltraISO v5.5, I extract the files I see, and only ~80 Mb
-When I open the .nrg with WinISO 5.3, it tells me "Cannot open Multisession files" :)P)

Anyway... is there a way to make this .nrg a simple session/track?

Tanks

its a nero file burn it with nero just install nero and then double click the nrg file it will launch nero just burn from there :)

You cannot turn a multisession disk/image to ISO. ISO images have only one session and one track- and this track cannot be an audio or video one.
The only way is mounting it to Nero image drive or Daemon (you can also burn it, of course).

Strange:

I converted the ~800 Mb .nrg to iso (~80 Mb) and mounted this .iso to a virtual drive (with Alcohol 120%) and tryed to install the programm: it installed coreclty!!!
I also checked the Alcohol mounted drive with CD-R Diagnostic and it told me that only 1 session was present!!!
When I check the drive's properties, it tells me, with both the 800Mb .nrg and 80 Mb .iso, that's its 80 Mb big!!

Is the .nrg corrupted or something like this? Did I downloaded 800 Mb for nothing???

After mounting the 80 Mb file on the virtual drive and installing the application, the folder in Program Files is 200 Mb big... is it possible from a 80 Mb CD???

Sure! - I downloaded 177Mb of 3DMark2003, and the damn thing used about 500Mb of diskspace when installed.

Depending on the application, the remainder might have been examples or something, or multimedia.

Maybe cdmage would have done it - converting to a suitable multisession format, of course - cue/bin for Burnatonce would be the most obvious.

The bad thing is that .nrg format has changed quite a lot since the last CDmage version, so it would return an error in most cases with fresh Nero images.
Maybe your second session has some other, pretty irrelevant data stored?!

scarecrow:
yeah thats what im thinking... kind of "p2p protection":
you make 2 sessions of your CD: the first one with the data you need, but since it's only 80 Mb and don't want people downloading it, you add a second session with 700 Mb of blank. People with bad connection won't download this on a p2p network.
What do you think?

THERE IS NO KIND OF P2P PROTECTION!!!
TRY TO USE THE NERO INFO TOOLS!!!!
AND YOU WILL SEE MIXED MODE CD!!!
BECAUSE IT'S CONTAINS THE DATA & AUDIO!!!
YOU CAN'T EXTRACT THE MULTISESSION ISO!!!
AUDIO IS INVINCIBLE IN MULTISESSION ISO!!!
BUT YOU CAN VIEW BY USING EASY CD-DA EXTRACTOR TO EXTRACT THE AUDIO!!!

FINALLY, I RECOMMEND YOU JUST BURN THE IMAGE !!!

IT,S SAFETY.

Probably not,m8....I suspect that this is a dummyfile,Plextools full cd acts the almost the same:+/- 500 mb as iso image, but rarred only 70mb,standard compression....dummyfiles were also used on Dreamcast games and PS2 dvd to cdr converting......
