MSN under win xp can't send files

Yes I know many people doesn't like this soft, but I've many friends that use it and will not listen to use another one.

I use msn version 4.6.0082 under windows xp (versión 5.1, build 2600) , I've a little problem, nothing important.

I can chat, make videochat, audio chat, but .I can't send files but I can receive from people who use msn from windows 98. I use kerio firewall, I closed it, and the problem persist. I know another similar case.

Thankyou very much!!

I discover 2 problems, two built in firewalls, one is part of the windows xp (the help in your post) and the other is part of the PC-Cillin 2002 antivirus.
Both allow to receive files but not to send.

¿Has this "built in firewalls" a good utilitie? I think if they where so good the people won't be using specific.3 firewall software.
