Some standalones can play mp3s off dvd.
Some standalones can play raw mpeg video off cd and dvd.
Some can play mp3s off dvd but are limited to 256 files anyway.
All players are different.
Basically create a data disc with nero etc and see if the mp3s play.
For less than £1 u can see for yourself.
The most usefull use for mp3 on dvd is storage, as it saves a sh*tload of discs.
If u actually have the time to listen to a full dvdr of mp3s I think u have a bigger problem that needs attention....like getting a life!
