movie on HD problems

hey peeps me again i have this movie on my HD the quality and sound is fine but theres one problem, when the movie is playing it sticks at a scene and then quickly catches up with the audio (which is still playing as normal) and this happens often during the film, anyone had this problem b4? i did run g-spot and this is what it said:

Its a pretty standard Xvid avi with 2ch AC3 audio. If its playing back choppy, then the avi possibly has a few problems (very common). Run it through DivFix and DivxRepair to see if it fixes/finds any problems.

Also, there are later versions of GSPOT as well.
