More Data Varification errors with NERO 66016

I just tried my first DVD+R DL (Verbatim) to back up about 7GB of data files from my HD, using my Pioneer DVR-108 (newest firmware).

Burn went normally, but since it was a large amount of files, I turned on Data Verification. I got sector read errors galor.

Using Total Commander software to do a file compare however, no mismatches were found. What gives? Is it a good back up, or does NERO have an issue varifying DL media?

Any suggestions?

TC's file comparison (with sync dirs and "by content" ticked in, or by direct file comparison) is surely enough reliable.
The comparison doesn't have 128-bit accuracy (like MD5 hashes do), but a plain CRC32 hash comparison should be nuff proof that your files are binary equal.
