Mix and match ecc-non ecc pc1066 rdram

Bon Aña!!! Happy new year to all!!!

I can get a good deal on pc1066 rdram on e-bay. The problem is that the memory I have right now is non ecc pc-1066 rdram. Is it possible to use both types in the same motherboard?

According to the motherboard manufacturer site (Gigabyte) the motherboard supports both, but i can't fnd any info on mixing both types.

Any ideas??

Don't mix them......they don't work well together....if you're lucky,you will still be able to boot your computer,but you will get randomly bluescreens and errors....

Thanks for your reply. I'm glad I brought this to the forum brfore committing myself. I'll keep looking for a good deal on the nonecc type. I have 512 mb right now so that's comfortable enough as is.
