I have ATI 7500 and Motherboard with C-Media audio integrated.
The soft crash in any situation : adding clips, deleting clips, putting effects,...
I m sure many people with problems.
Im making this things:
1º.- update drive of cmedia card on windows update
and i do what i find :
GENERAL INFORMATION:
Movie Maker 2.0 Autocrashes when I try to preview or play either a
transition or effect from the collections pane, timeline or the
storyboard.
OPTIONS:
1. Remove DIVXAF.AX
Distrubuted by DIVX NIMO Codec package
DivX Anti Freeze Codec causes a crash when trying to preview or play
Transitions and Effects.
2. Upgrade to DirectX 9
We have seen problems where people with Beta builds of DirectX 9 have had
issues when previewing Transitons and Effects.
3. Change you Hardware Acceleration Settings
a. Right click on the desktop and choose properties.
b. In the display properties pane select the Settings Tab and then choose
advanced.
c. Select the Troubleshoot Tab and move the slider to the third tic from
the left
4. Use System Mechanic ( http://www.iolo.com/sm/ )
to remove unnecessary registry entries
BUT DOESNT WORKS
