Mainconcept Stopping Problem!

Gidday...not sure if this is in right section so apologies to mods if it isn't, but here I go..:)

I am trying to convert an AVI movie to DVD. I add the file to mainconcept MPEG Encoder and it loads no worries and then starts no worries.

Trouble is though it just stops I'm thinking about half way through and always at the same spot and just closes down with no error messages or nothing, just closes the proggy altogether...:(

As far as I know the movie is fine and plays no problems on my PC, although I haven't actually sat and watched the whole thing, but it does work, so I don't know whether there's a problem with the movie or what.

Can anyone offer any suggestions please?

Most encoders will quite if there is a problem with the AVI, and problem AVI's are unfortunately common as well.

Check the file with DivFix and DivXRepair to see if either can fix it for ya. Check it in VirtualDUB and "Scan video stream for errors".
