Does it req activation like winXP or OfficeXP??
And is it better than ver 6.0??

hi,

It doesnt require you to log on to microsoft and register with them, its just the normal enter serial number to install type of thing.

As for is it better than 6...hmmmm well
C# is a new language its a cross between vb and c++
vb .net is very different to normal vb. Most of the stuff you know about vb6 you can throw away because u really need to start from the beginning. Obviously some knowledge of VB will help, but there is so much more to it now u will need to gen up on it.

depends which version you get. I have Visual studio .Net Professional which has 5 cd's. The next version up has a couple more cd because it includes SQL stuff.
