looking for avi conversion software

I've dowloaded tv shows from supernova. I believe most of the files are .avi files. What is the process to put this onto a dvd. What software is used? Can dvd decryptor or shrink be used?

A 5 sec use of the search button would have found all sorts of programs tha can do that for ya:

DVD2SVCD
The FilmMachine
Nero Vision Espress
TMPGEnc
MainConcept
etc, etc

Actually I used the search button, but I guess the criteria I entered did not give me the results i was looking for, but thanks for the info.

thanks. I kept getting the posts talking about problems with avi conversion, but none of them spoke about software they used. I think I got those results because I used ".avi" with something else.

I converted tons of avis to svcd using dvd2svcd with cce as encoder..
Use a same tutorial but change from svcd to dvd-should be ok :)
