Logitech quickcam 3000 software help

hi guys

i have a logitech quickcam 3000. i have just updated to a new version software 7, and i wanting to go back to 6 but when i uninstall version 7 and the drivers and try to install version 6 -it keeps on saying that i have version 7 installed and need to uninstall first.

anybody know what else i need to uninstall to do a clean install of version 6

uninstall the software and then remove the device from system-device manager.
then try to install the driver you want, manual, under: Add Hardware
