Liteon DVD Rom 16x

i Bought a 16 x Liteon DVD Rom to speed up my ripping of DVDs,to my surprise it does not work with Smartripper 2.41 all i get is errors,i returned it for another same thing?If i use the ripper in DVD2SVCD it works great!My old Toshiba 10 x never had this problem with Smartripper, any body had similar problems.

I use liteon 16x dvd and it works everytime with smartripper.

I use DVD Decrypter v.3.1.2.0 to rips and DVDx v.2.0 to convert SVCD whit no problems

cheeser same prob with you in some DVDs (not all. e.x. AI). To solve it go to setting choose file splitting max-filesize and max filesize <= 692

Try the latest DVD Decrypter 3.1.2.0 Program can be found at our main website (CD-R Soft)

I had the same problem. If you are a Smartripper fan like me, use version 2.40. It works fine.

Thank's Everybody for the Info ,i have the latest firmware from liteon,running win98 p4 2.0 gig ,use nero latest and TMPGEnc 2.57,i will try some of the suggestions.

My first LiteOn 16x DVD player would not even let me log onto any DVD, took it back and the new one runs fantastic with SmartRipper 2.41 on every DVD I throw at it. I get up to 13x ripping but generally about 8x. Thats for R 1, 2 & 4 DVD's.

The latest DVD Decryptor can do IFO pasing and rip by Chapter, etc so give it a try. Then stick with the ripper that works best for you.
