Liteon 411s and DVD-R disc

I am preparing to move so I will have to try all this stuff in the next couple of days. I will let you know. Hopefully it works otherwise I wasted money on a drive.

Hopefully you guys are still around, sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

I tried doing the VIA drivers and putting it on secondary masters and still the same problem.

I was able to burn a DVD-R in PIO mode, is there a difference besides how long it takes when burng DVDs in PIO vs DMA mode?

according to you info in the txt file DMA IS ON ?!

Is that a Prassi-based Sonic product (MyDVD) and Nero 6 ? - they are reckoned not to get on very well, though I'm not sure how that actually shows up?

I turned it to PIO after I did the nero info thats why it says its on.
