thankz bellis, i know i'm NOT the ONLY one that meets this problem.
I'ill try to do what you say.
(Just say that with many posts i've written above: with ANY bitrate, only the SAME size with SAME movie...IT'S A BUG !!!)

wrong filesize

Hi.

Has anyone been able to remedy the filesize problem yet ??

Ive been hoping that Ligos would release a fix for that, but
not .. Not even a single word aabout it on Ligos homepage..

Have to disagree with you there chickenman, Dup-Dvd is not the worst I have seen.....Ligos Encoder is. But the best for VCD in my opinion (and thats all it is) TMPGEnc and for SVCD or CVD I would have to say DVD2SVCD package with CCE encoder as in your tutorials....

Frumble, yes your probably right. They are both that bad I really wonder why people try to continue to use them.

I was playing with LSX Encoder v3.0 last week just to see again its output. Yep, nothing has changed same old blocky output. Arrr well back to TMPGEnc as usual for my VCD's.

i've tried to encode with lsx 2.01 plugin wtih the OPTIOn DO NOT MULTIPLEX AUDIO AND VIDEO
and after encoding i use tmpgenc to MULTIPLEX the audio & video and NOW MIRACLE = i find the size EXPECTED (like lsx 1.5 plugin)
WONDERFULLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL.
lots of encoding time saving (high speed encoding, terrificcccccccccc)
YOU KNOW WHATTTTT = I'M HAPPYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY
