Ligos LSX 2.0 Adobe Premier Plugin - Is this one also crack-proof?

Ligos (/www.ligos.com) have released a new version of their Adobe Premier Plugin that can be used with FlaskMPEG etc. THe current version is 2.0. I have tried to search for a crack for the previous version, v1.5 but could not find one. Will this version also not be able to be cracked? This is good software if anyone knows a link to the full version 2.0 of this plugin - pls let me know!

Probably ver 1.5 was not cracked as it would have to be the worst MPEG1 encoder on the market (no, I take that back, DUP-DVD takes that prize !) Only thing going for it is its speed. It produces crap quickly.

For MPEG1, the Panasonic Encoder is the best plugin for quality, just its slow encoding.

For MPEG2, Cinema Craft Encode is the best for quality and speed.

Have a read in the tutorial section if your interested in producing quality MPEG1 or MPEG2 encoding.

do not agree with you chicken man!!!
Panasonic is the best for VCD (mpeg1) that's ok.
But for MPEG2, in LOW bitrate, ligos lsx is the best in quality but not in speed.
For the speed, CCE is the best...it's a fact.

That´s nonsense.
Especially for low mpeg2 bitrates lsx gives bad quality. CCE gives very good quality on low mpeg2 bitrates as it smoothes the image which saves a lot of bitrate.
Those who claim that Tmpeg gives better picture quality prefer its sharpness (no matter of some blockiness).

But Ligos is becoming better and better. The new Ligos 2.0 plugin (waiting for a new standalone version) raised quality compared to plugin 1.2 and 1.5 ... and gives some new features too, like mpeg4 encoding.

But nevertheless it is true that the new lsx gives very good quality at high bitrates (avg 5.000 kbps for dvd creation) with remarkable speed. But still no multipass option.

OK: Let's help these guys.

Instructions:
DL and install LSX Plugin 2.01 Demo from Ligos website.

Overwrite existing files with the two from attached zip (files taken from LSX 2.01 upgrade patch) to have fun.

LSX 2.01, for me the best one in MPEG1 and MPEG 2 one pass mode.

i'll try it right now.
i'm very busy last weeks, and no time to surf, but i'll be on holiday next few days, and i won't waste the time you have worked for me and others, i 'll explode my computer with encodings...hihihi
Thank u very much guy

no way , panasonic is crap ( performance is §#$% and the quality so so ) - tmpgenc has the best quality but the performance is not as good -- cce ist the best in both performance and quality

FOR MB1,
don't know why , when encoding, file encoded is always same size in variable bitrate!!!
speed is increased in this version but does not worked like i want...

What are your settings in the bitrate tab, how long is the movie and what filesize did you get (also what audio did you set)?

And what different settings did you test?

movie lenth is 1h57' variable bitrate SVCD encoding
max bitrate=2539
max everage bitrate is 1000 or 1450
min everage bitrate = 127
File size obtained = 2,27 gigabyte!!!
i expected 1,40 gigabyte...
hope u could help me guy

Ok, you have wrong settings.

1 h 57 min means for 160 audio 1.696 kbps avg video.

LSX-Plugin works with Kbps.

Set video bitrate as follows:

- variable
- max. 2.500 Kbps
- keep specified avg bitrate 1.650 Kbps

audio 160

For SVCD you then will get around 1,55 GB (note that on 2 80min cd-r will fit 797 MB in svcd sector format without overburning).

Sorry guy, i use variable birate, and OPTIMIZED Quantization scale option .
i don't use KEEP SPECIFIED AVERAGE BITRATE option .
Settings i wrote above work fine with lsx 1.5 retail pluggin BUT NOT With 2.01 version!!! (your package)
i'll try to find a retail version even if i have to wait for a very long time!!!
thankz a lot for your help all the same...

@ frenchkingkong

Sorry but you simple don´t understand the meaning of your chosen options ...
Your settings won´t give you your needed filesize result with original retail version 2.01 also.

Again, your settings are wrong (and they are bad too).

Why not go back to version 1.5 if it satisfies you ...

But think of one thing:
How do you want to obtain a certain filesize if you don't specify the needed average bitrate (around 1.650 Kbps for your example) ?

max avg bitrate and min avg bitrate is not what you think it is; with your settings quantisation value is the value that decides the filesize (and it will change from movie to movie).

i know guy,
With the package downloaded i obtain the same size of encoded file with 2 different settings ( different bitrate).!!!(don't know why)
so i've downloaded lsx 2.01 demo version and installed it, and i just use the cm-lsx2.prm downloaded in the forum to remove ALL limitations of demo (no logo, and encoding time limitation..., that's what i see now...)
i tried same setting for lsx 1.5 and lsx 2.01 and the difference is about 340 megabyte.(i am trying to understand ...).
for this time i use lsx 1.5 to encode my movies but i am trying to use lsx 2.01 because of the increased speed of encoding...
settings are not wrong, if they are wrong : with lsx 1.5, it have to give me the same size of encoding movie!!! (the same movie encoded with lsx 1.5 and 2.01 with the SAME setting DO NOT give the same SIZE)
keep working hard to understand why...

Hi fellas..

I got my hands on an original uncracked 2.01 Lsx Adobe Premiere
(not the demo) but Im lacking in serial numer..

Is there anyone here that can help me ??

@ frenchkingkong

Sizes are different because 2.01 and 1.5 are completely different programs. Encoding routines were completely new built.

So the settings have the same name but they work different.

Tmpeg did this also some time ago. CQ_VBR with quality let's say 50 gives completely other sizes now (2.xx) than in older versions (0.12x). Encoding routines and bit allocation schemes did change.

And so is LSX 2.01 ... you have to change your settings.

@ bellis

I have the serial but I can´t give it out ecause a friend of mine bought the program and registered it regularly.

But in the other thread (see link above in one of my postings) I have made a package out from the original bought version which works perfect. So you get a full working version without the need for a serial. It was downloaded over 1.600 times and nobody complained (besides frenchkingkong ;) ).

You don't get more with your full version. Only some predefined templates (which can be used only within Premiere).
I can upload it too if there is urgent need for that.

About the strange filesize change i can add that if you remux the file with tmpgenc the new filesize will be normal again..

The same result shows up it you dont let Lsx mux the file but use the TmpGenc instead.

That for me suggest that either there is a bug in Lsx or they are saving some irrelevent data (perhaps premiere specific) in the file that is cleaned away by TmpGenc ..
