Joliet And Data Type Settings In Nero for DVD Burning Please

Hi,

Can anyone tell me what the ideal Joliet and Data mode (1 or 2) settings are in NERO 6 in relation to burning dvd-video and dvd-data?
Irrespective of whether -R or +R.
Can settings improve compatibility?

An update, i've bought some Grade A Ritek branded discs, 25 of each +R and -R The +R's work like a dream with any Joilet settings etc,the -R's a bit touchy, they cant be read in a few players/drives i've tried.
Media quality not withstanding, can someone please point me to a good tutorial for burning dvd-data or post their settings.

Commercial retail DVD's are not Juliet so why burn a DVDR with Juliet on, its for PC use only. Best compatability is burn ISO9660 with Juliet off and in UDF/ISO mode (UDF at default 1.02). See the DVD to DVDR Tutorial for further settings.
