Join MP3's

Hi all,

I have got an album which is a Dance album but its been splitup into induvilual files and I wanted to know whats the best program to join it back togeather.

I want to keep the track numbers as well so I can skip between tracks.

Thanx in advance :)

Let me get this right.. You want to join it, but you want it in seperate tracks?? That makes no sense.

If you join it you will loose all the track numbers. Why don't you just create a playlist?

You could also use something like album wrap to join it, that way you can easily re-split it into seperate tracks.

If trying to make an audio CD from MP3 tracks that WERE continuous, there will normally be a slight gap - if there's a 2 second gap, ensure that you are using DAO mode, and that you turn off or zero 2 second gaps if added by software.

The only way to cover the joins, is to use a small amount of crossfade - VERY small. Play/preview the join and use the minimum required to cover it - a few frames ought to be enough.

Nero FULL or DEMO, but not OEM or BUNDLE, supports crossfade.
If you have a bundle or OEM version, find and save the key from the registry, then deinstall it and load the current demo version - after doing the task in Demo mode, apply the saved key to convert to licenced bundle/oem version.

Hi
I did a tutorial a while back, you can find it here
http://www.cdrbase.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=23654
or you can download the attachment

if you have one long continuous track load it into an editor like cool edit pro first and remove the blank (pause) from the track, you can then choose to mixdown all the tracks together as one or save the edited track, then you follow the tutorial
