John Wayne Movies ?

Hello Folks,

I am an old movie buff and enjoy viewing old classic movies. I especially like old aviation themed movies.

Some time ago there was rumor that two John Wayne movies titled “The High And The Mighty” and “Island In The Sky” were going to be restored and release in the DVD format.

Perchance has anyone heard any information about this? Any information anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated.

Shooting from November 16, 1953 to mid January, 1954.
Released July 3, 1954 (US), November 1, 1954 (Great Britain).

Hello Folks,

Some time ago I posted inquiring if anyone knew anything about the two classic John Wayne aviation themed films “High and the Mighty” and “Island in the Sky” being released on DVD.

For anyone who might be interested I found out that these two films with be released on DVD 2 August 2005.
