Iomega Super DVD Burner

I assume since no one is talking about this burner, that it is junk. It is one of the only DVD R+- RW+- DVD-RAM burners on the market.

It's an OEM Hitachi/Lucky Goldstar. Since the orgiginal is cheaper in most countries, and few need the -RAM features, it's likely to go unnoticed...

yes, dvd-ram is practically a dead format...
Gotta disagree. Might be dead for you and me, but for network IT's that want to make 100% reliable data backups it is ages more reliable than -R or +R.
It's just that the media are expensive, and not compatible with most standalones... but specifications-wise the -RAM defect management makes it the best format that exists.
That said, I don't intend buying a -RAM burner, either.

i agree that dvd-ram is the better choice for data backup, but its limited usage in the real world limits its profitability, which is why so few companies actually support it and will ultimately cause them to drop it.
