Intervideo DVD copy 2 problems

I was using DVD Decryptor and Intervideo 2 to make a copy of a movie in this case crouching tiger hidden dragon. I have sucessfully made copies of movies before but this time somthing strange happened. The file decrypts to just over 6 gigs and getting that to a 4 gig was impossible it seemed cause I kept getting a cache error. I went to the customize and decided that I did not need all the languages just english and no subtitles and then I took the check mark out for one of the extras that was just a photo album I did not want. Then I clicked burn and everything went as normal. Then I got the disk done and it is now a coaster. None of the programs that I use to watch movies on my computer can play it and my DVD players can't read it. Can anyone think of anything I may have done wrong?

THIS could be a case of bad media ?! what brand /make of dvd are you using to burn to ?!

you could also try dvd decrypter to rip the disk then process with DVD SHRINK as this allows removal of extras best of all its freeware
