1. I have a home made movie on DVD-R, is there any software to write protect it??

2. Which style is better to re-encode using TMPGEnc Interlace or Progressive??

3. When using TMPGEncPlus how to you change the framerate from 480x480 to 352x480 or 720x480 but still re-encode under NTSC film 23.976 format. The fields are frozen and I can't change the numbers. Or is it better to re-encode at 29.97 NTSC.

I'll take the first one and to give you a simple answer NO. Think about it you bought a DVD burner and he didn't come with a link to this website but if you do a search on the net you find this place or a place like it.
If man (or woman) can make it someone can break it and thats a beautiful thing. :) The only time you can't copy a disc is if it's scratched or dirty.

If by homemade you mean DV or capture from analogue tape then it will be interlaced. If you want to encode progressive, then you need to de-interlace it first. As above also the framerate will be 29.97fps.
