When I use the search function in Windows XP (or any other Windows version) to find icons (*.ico), an image of the icon is suppose to be next to the name of the icon. Mine does'nt do this. All I get is a generic image. I saw a registry hack to fix this problem once, but I can't remember where. Help!

It's because M$ crippled Windows search to prevent you from hurting yourself (ie, screwing with your Windows XP installation) so all it gives you is a generic image. It wont allow you to get into Icon libraries (.icl files) easilly either.
So what do you want to do..... edit it, change it, blow it up?!
