Hi!
I followed the great tutorial from this site (see: http://www.dvdrbase.com/showthread.php?t=31155)
to burn movie DVD's, and the software/instructions work great with my LG "Super Multi DVD Writer" (model Number: GSA-4040B)
............IF I'M USING DVD-R's.
HOWEVER!
If I use DVD+R's, the data is written to the DVD, BUT!!!!,the movie won't play on any of my DVD players (the one in my P.C. included!), AND, when I put the DVD+R back into my computer, and open up windows explorer, the disc can't be read.
I know that that the data has been written to the DVD+R disc because if I try to burn to it, it won't allow me to because there's data already on the disc, yet, when when I try to access the disc through Windows Explorer
it says that the there's no disc in the drive (the same error message you get if you put a blank disc in the drive).
I can write to DVD+R discs using the software that came with the DVD writer, so there's no problem there.
Does anybody know why I'm experiencing this? Or more importantly, how to get around this problem?
Thanx!
Jack!
