HP/compaq

Are hp/compaq nb a good type of brand and quality? because they are cheap and im just wondering if they work well

I like to make my own pcs but since there are no parts to assemble a laptop then I prefer DELL, the two I own had given me the best results and never failed, as for compaq a friend of mine didn´t had so much luck but that is just a small example more opinions should come by.

as far as i know,hp/compaq's product r ok,if u want very good stuff,say a latop,i will recommend a Dell
