Hi,
I am on about buying a Yamaha F1 cd-writer.
Has anybody expierences with this drive especially regarding copy protections ?
I read a review of it in a Ct magazin some times ago and it should be perfectly backing up any audio protected CD.
Agree ?
Further I took a look on Elby's site, but this tells me, it's not the perfect burner for games.
It has only one star in EFM encoding meaning you must amplify weak sectors by software.
Is this true ? or were you able to copy SD2 v2.51++ protected games without this option ?
Nevertheless newer games are coming out with DPM protections so you are only able to copy such games via a Virtual Drive.
Okay guys, please let me know your comments and of course your knowledge about this crazy (and now profitable) drive ?
Any better ideas to buy another CD-writer device ?
Regards
