HOW TO View Installed Codes & Filters

Please anyone is there a way or a TOOL to view

CODECs ie DivX etc and FILTERS are installed on

a system as Not many of these items show in the

add remove programs section..

Device Manager-->Sound,video and game controllers-->Video Codecs-->properties......this will show quite a few of them....

Not filters though. Try SysEnum which comes with GraphEdit. It will list all installed directshow filters.

there is a program named gspot. this program free shows you all codec installed and the property of an avi file means what codec was created and more
