Short answer is ...yes carefully! I would be happy to try to assist you after you have the registered version of MenuEdit. That's the only way I would strip anything out of menus. Too easy otherwise to end up with a crippled DVD.

Maybe you mean DVDStripper, instead of Menuedit?
xxDemonxx wants to STRIP DVDMenus, not edit them.
(In which case, indeed Menuedit is for the job)
BTW, any news on MenuMod (or whatever it will be called)??

Nope, I interpeted xxDemonxx's post to mean stripping parts of menus out, in which case I only feel comfortable doing so if I first view it in DS with MenuEdit. I know you may feel diferently but you're not an Ifoeditaphobic as I admit to being. I still try though.

Haven't heard boo. I think it should be called MenuStripper. When it's out I may not feel so dependent on menuedit, atleast thats my hope.

.......
I am as Ifoedit-able as the next guy.
So whenever I am forced to use Ifoedit, I always have with me:
An Orthodox cross
A Star of David (you never know...)
Some garlic
Something silver
and lots of stress balls.
Doesn't everybody do that??? :)

ROTFLMAO

Maybe I should try a few of those?

Hi and welcome to the forums xxDemonxx :),

I'm confused though , are we talking about removing the video or buttons?

DVDStripper removes the menu video in basically the same way as Menuedit, so why the need for Menuedit unless you guys are talking about removing buttons

unless, because the previewer does not display buttons in an item then you wouldn't know if it contains buttons etc so the effects of removal may not be known. I would still just use DS to do any removal as it will always restore the original VOB anyway and the free version of Menuedit will tell you if there are buttons so no real need to register it just to see a pic ;)

p.s. if everything goes OK I should have MenuModder available for testing very soon. I'm playing with VC++ and enjoying it :-D
