How to hide/lock out folder?

Is there a way to hide and/or deny access to a folder to anyone who does not have administrator rights? I have my box set up with a default normal user logon for the family and a separate administrator account for me. I have some naughty stuff on the computer I don't want my kid to stumble across. :D Or my wife :D :D

Thanks

I'm totally stumped. The drive is set to share with full permissions to all users. I log on as administrator, go to the folder and enable sharing, and then set permissions to deny everything to the other user "family". I log off and log back on as "family". I have full access to the folder! Log off and back on as administrator, yep, permissions are set to deny for "family"

The only things I can think of that might be affecting stuff are that "family" has a blank password, and while I've been doing this, I'm not connected to the network at home.

Any thoughts? BTW, the drive I've been experimenting on is FAT32 not NTFS, would that make a difference?

Yeah, when I tried it on the NTFS drive with the actual folder, it worked fine.

Thanks to all who replied.
