i would have a search in the regitry for one of that search terms you used and then press f3 again until you see the others too and there you can delete them all
(i don't use the toolbar, so i can't tell you where in the registry it is stored, but it is there)

It's real simple. Click the Google button on the search bar (It's the first button with "Google" in color and a down arrow). Then hit "Clear Search History" on the drop down list. Can't get any easier than that.

lol why does noone think of that easy solution.... i think we are all used to the way we have to do that with all the ms software crap ... but the toolbar is from google so there is a nice and easy solution,
thx to cyberhound for your input

Yes FortiTude it's true, it's rarely that easy anymore. BTW, If your looking to clear your cache, Auto Complete, typed URL's, cookies, index.dat, etc, then try Tracks Eraser Pro. It even gets rid of the index.dat file without a reboot. And, yes it will clean the Google search bar and many other things as well. It's better than Windows Washer or Evidence Eliminator or any program of that kind IMO.

Get it here: hxxp://www.acesoft.net/te4.exe

Use this to extend your "free trial period" indefintely: hxxp://www.andr.net/andrnet-cracks/t/ucftep20.zip

Enjoy!

OK, the first problem is that you are using MSN Explorer. That's going to make things alot more difficult. I can't answer your question about it, but I can tell you that you are better off using Internet Explorer, Opera, or Mozilla (Netscape w/o all the crap). Unfortunately if you want IE, it's probably going to take a reinstall of your OS. Sorry my suggestion didn't solve your problem. Good luck.

187's try searching the registry (start -> run -> regedit) for one of your search phrases, as i posted above, and press f3 until you see all of them on the right hand side, then delete all these keys and i'm sure they are gone even in msn explorer!
(you can do almost everything that is possible to in windows and other ms products with the registry, it's the most powerful tweak tool you can get, but it's very big and uncomfortable)

i couldnt find it in the registry or anywhere on the harddrive.

this is how it was solved(__/__)
type an alphabet in the Search bar and when you get the drop down of the previous searched items, please press the down key arrow and press the Delete button from the keyboard, this will help you delete the previous search items manually. Perform this for each alphabet.
