How to burn a bin file with nero

Black cdr

Ok well I did not know that, every time I have ever seen descriptions about cdr's they always refer to the dye which gave them their color and I had 3 different CDRW's and none could recognize the black cdr's that came with the Teac burner.

yeah i can add to this celtic well at least regards for game system usage..... BLACK cdrs are merely cosmetic in looks it will not make a blind bit of difference to if it works or not !? in my experience a cheap cdr is just as good as any in most cases :) and its usually a problem with the psx lazer unit not being able to focus on the disk or is not calibrated correctly this can be adjusted by tweaking the potentiometer on the lazer head unit cable (not to be done if you are not confident with electronics etc!! you could fuxor your game system :( ) there are details out there how to do this for both ps1 and ps2 :)

Black cdr's

I had figured that the type of cdr really should not make a difference, just that some people in the binary cd games newsgroups swear by the black ones but since I don't have a bootdisc or have modded my ps1 I can't really say but you are right about trying to mod a game console, I think from my research the safest way is to use a bootdisc as then about the only thing that physically touches the console is the piece of tape used on the bit that tells the console that the lid is open.
