How to add full support for Liteon LTR-52246S on Record Now (all versions)

1st install the last Px Engine Upgrade (PxEngine500.exe)
(Don’t forget to rename the extracted file PxEngine500 to PxEngine500.exe)
You’ll find at http://www.primera.com/ftp/PxEngine500.exe

Find the file pxdrv.dll ( Windows\System32 or Windows\System folder)
Make one backup copy (just in case ....)
Open this file with Winhex or another hexa editor.
Find text LTR-52327 and you go to this offset adress 00062944.
Edit the file like the following table.
Save and replace the original pxdrv.dll
That’s all.
Enjoy !!!

These adresses originally have a support for Liteon LTR-52327 drive.
If you doesn’t want edit this driver you can edit any Liteon drive.
You can find a lot of these driver on this file.

I just updated with 500 and saw your post earlier over at Divide's forum and lo and behold you were dead right, stupid how the 52327 is supported but the 52246 is not. :confused:

I'd the same problem. When I updated with 500 I still very frustated :( :( :(

Then I start to find where the info about the drivers was placed.
I'd lucky to find.

Working very well it is too! :cool:

Burned about 200 CDR's using Stomp since update and running like a dream now! :)
