How can I retrieve info off a corrupt cdrw?

Hi all,

I was in the middle of adding some things to a cdrw using fileCD (new version). I believe I ran out of room on the disc as it was copying to it and I received an error. This was my own dumb fault trying to fit every last mb.

Now when I try to access this disc it cannot find or tells me it is corrupt. I have well over 500mb of info that I need. Is there anyway of getting this info off the disc?

Thanks for your help!

Thanks pokopiko for your reply. Unfortunately it is ISO9660 so I'm guessing I have to reformat this disc and start all over :(

Thanks again for your reply

Why not just burn data as DATA instead of Packet Writing?

Have you tried Bad Copy Pro - it can retrieve corrupt files from unreadable media... works a treat! Here's a thread where you can download it from....

Thanks for all your advise. I agree I should just burn it all to cdr. I guess the thing is that the info is accumalated over a period of maybe 6 months and I would hate to clog up my hard drive until I have enough info to fill the disk.

vcd_pat -> I'll try the program you suggest. If I can retreive it I'll gladly burn it as a data cd :D

Thanks
