How 2 rip protected music Cd

Another way to copy the cd (but more boring) is to use a program that records what u hear.In my Sound blaster 1024 live sound card there is a recorder that does it.So you can play the cd and record it in you hard disk.

audiocd protected

I made a copy of Celine Dions newest cd, protected with Key2Audio with Clone Cd. worked fine.
First it could not play in PC at all.
then I installed cdcopy 4950, newest one.
I wrote the cd to hardisk.
Then i could use Nero or whatever to burn the wawfiles to cd.

I also could listen to the files with windows mediaplayer.

the strange thing was, that I afterwards could listen to the original audiocd in my pcplayer.
Then it all worked as an onproteced audiocd.

can anyone explaine this.

I also tryed Isobuster 1.2 first, but the program could not make from nr. 7 and on.

hope you can use this

my solution so far

I just bought the latest Robbie Williams cd(Escapology),and wanted to rip it to my portable mp3 player. The problem was the copyprotection. When I used CloneCd,all the tracks had an error after 9-10 sec.The solution was simple:Take a small piece of tape, paint it black with a pen, cover a small part of the datatatrack on the end of the cd with the piece of tape, and then use CloneCd.The copy was perfect, and I was able to rip the tracks to mp3 without any errors. The datatrack contaning the copyprotection is visible as a blank track close to the edge of the cd.I don't know why the errors occured, byt it worked out fine.I also tried Plextools and some other programs, but they could't read the cd at all,or made the same crappy copy.
I use a Plextor 40x,and it's the first time i've had these kind of problems making copys of my legally bought cd's.
