Hotmail Violates User's Privacy
contributed by Xenographic (May 28, 2002 10:30 am EST)
Without warning, Hotmail has changed the privacy settings for all current users, allowing them to sell personal information in violation of their own privacy policy of not releasing such information without consent. What this means is that users who wish to maintain privacy will have to go to Options, then Personal Profile and uncheck the boxes at the bottom. Microsoft has not made any comment at this time.

dont you just love hotmail :D
