home dvd player buying info req in u.k

I recommend;

1. picking up yourself a copy of 'what hifi' magazine from your local newsagents:
2. select a price range or limit.
3. reading the various reviews on dvd players because they've got a large back catalog of reviews
4. Research prices; visit richersounds.com for the cheapest prices
5. goto a richersounds store (nearest to you is cardiff) and ask their advise and get them to set you up some demo equipment. the staff are really helpful & you get endless amounts of free coffee!

hope this helps, becuase this is what i did when i purchased my lovelly sony dvd player :D

thanks guys i suppose its a case of pays your money takes your choice my only worry now is hooking it all up as i have a nicam
vhs/sky digi box/ going into tvset

scart for picture ill use the spare tv scart out for the audio to go to my hifi im just curious as what order do the scarts go in

Is a lot of fiddling to get all to work but it can be done its a matter of trial and error to get it all to loop through with the av's pain in the ass but i suggest making a diagram if you are unsure as you go along so ya dont get lost and test each as you go too :)

the problem with the sale there having is that only five people
at a time are allowed in and you have to download there sale list
for the shop in your area and write down the number of the item your after and go in and buy it theres no browsing you just give them that number of what you want that you saw on the list and buy it and leave thats what the guy told me when i rang them
ie richer sound of cardiff
