I never doubted them for a second-The world`s No1- "PLEXTOR"
(Hope I don`t sound too much like a commercial-lol-lol)

Unfortunately that is no longer true

Others now make as good if not better IDE burners @ a fraction of the cost so times change

That said my old 40x Ultraplex & Plexwriter 12/10/32S are still going strong.

& as Viper has found out their service in Europe is second to none but as I posted earlier they may be getting out of this game <> people are no longer prepared to pay the "plextor price" & are buying cheaper.

Small world...Still got a 12/10/32 myself.Think I might acquire myself their latest DVD burner, with all the lovely extra software U get with it.One extra thing about the Number 1 company-they always give you something extra.One more thing-NEC/Mitsubishi make virtually the same DVD burner without the extra software for £50 cheaper..what is THAT all about?
