Q. Duel layer dvd burners. Are they worth the xtra xpence or do you have to be a visual xpert to appreciate the advantages . Thanks.

MAIN downfall of DL burners is the EXTORTIONATE price of media available for it until it reaches the price of current -r media then and only then will it be a viable option in my opinion

other views will prolly differ to mine but everyone has their own opinions

I agree with VIPER but I also read about all the errors and compatibility problems. So for those reason I'll wait to see if they can be fixed before I buy one. Also I have a 8x burn so I'm not in a rush to replace it. Take some time to read around the forum and look at some reviews which may surprised you.

Update!!! 08/19/04 You may want to look at the new review of the 108 it's look like they fixed the DL problem.
