-- Here Is A Strange One --

Hi. Friends

I Need Assistance Again I'm Afraid. :)
Here Is My Problem. I Have Windows XP Pro SP2 Integrated With All April 2006 Updates. I Have FIREFOX Install Version 1.5.0.1. This Is Where My Problem Lies.

Lets Say I Am Uploading A 7.9GB File. I Leave My PC On Lock And Disappear For A Few Hours. I Come Back And Stop My UPLOAD.

When I Load Up FIREFOX Not A Single Page Loads All It Says On The Bottom Left Corner Looking For http://www.google.co.uk. The Only Solution To That Is If I LOG Off And Then Straight Back In It All Normal Again..

Please Help Me Im Getting So Frsutrated.. :D :D :D

Yes. Once Uploading Starts It Wont Stop Uploading, While Its Uploading Lets Say I Go Away For 5-7hrs The Upload Will Still Be Uploading.

When I Load Firefox Then It Says Looking For http://....
If I Stop The Upload, Same Problem Again, The Only Cure For It To Log Off & Then Log In.. Strange..!

Do you have a dynamic ip address? Only thing I could think that would cause this behavior is that the ip address needs to be renewed. Next time before you close out your browser try repairing the network connection. Right clicking the network icon should allow you to do that.

Tried That To No Such Luck.

I Also Have A Router D-LINK DI-634M It Not The Router.
I Also Have Another Computer Attach To It. That Works Perfectly.

I Might Have Done A Tweak In A Registry Or Something But Dont Know What.

Using wpa caused the connection to my router to drop, on all connections that lasted more than an hour if they were interupted, even if I used a wired connection. The only way to fix it was to change back to wep. I was using cards from different mfg's so they weren't exactly interoperable. I thought for sure that your issue was similar. Oh well, I'm out of ideas. I'm sure one of the big brains with 5,000 posts or more will be able to help.
