Every dvd i have backed up has some sections of the movie that the video starts to break up and the sound cuts out. Ive burnt 4 so far. I have a 4x burner that comes with a dell (not sure the brand). I am using dvd shrink and nero to decrypt,shrink and burn. I have tried decryptor but when it decrypts and i try to use shrink to shorten it an error message pops up. I have used phillips and memorex dvd+r and rw. Do you have any idea why i am getting bad spots in the video and audio. Also when i shrink it i am keeping it above 70%. One was at 90% and still did the same thing.

have you tried different media ?! maby some -R media and burn it maby slower perhaps 2x !? or even 1x DVDRW'S are ok for a couple of burns and erases only i have found they tend to degrade quite a lot after a few users more so than CDRWs !?
I have only used it on my pioneer stand alone. It only gives me probloms for maybe 23 minutes total at different parts of the movie. I have used the 2 medias listed. One is a 4x and the other is a 1 to 2.4 and it does it on both. The manual says use +r so i havent tried the -r.

Sounds like media!!! But also it could be the way your burning it. I hate NERO for burning DVDs. 
Have you tried any other burning programs? Try Nero InfoTool to see what brand DVD burner you have or the Nero log file. Also you might want to try burnatonce but only version .99b. Lifes not long enough to wait forever for a free serial that doesn't come. Anyway you can find a download for it searching the forum or the net.

when you use shrink do u remove anything from the content !? maby try leave it all as it is and have the size set to auto
then when done making the iso burn the iso with decrypter

@NEOPET do you not like to use DVD SHRINK to retain ALL the menus etc !?

I burnt 2 at full content, both still messed up. I would like to try decryptor but cant get it to work with shrink. Any suggestions?
