Help needed wih those files

Hi Guys,

Looking for someone that can help me with this:

I downloaded some files a couple of weeks ago from a leeching page (I know, shouldn't have done it, but I just found it and downloaded). The problem the file is like compressed or camouflaged with some program. The site from were I downloaded it, RIP. so now I' Have no way of looking for the info.

The files are like this: Filename.001 Filename.002 Filename.003 ETC.

Could yo please help me and TIA.

Yep, WinRAR, WinZIP and WinACE, all give me the same result.

It has to be another compression utility, the problem is searching for it is like searching for a needle on the bothom of the Atlantic Ocean :( .

if you still found nothing i can try to identfy these files from the first 10 chars that you see when you open it with notepad or ultraedit, or something like that.
cause almost every filetype has it's own first bytes
just post these bytes and i'll try

Try if it is a file split with HJSPLIT - all other filesplitters I know create a bat or exe file to rejoin, but not this one.

Just run it and select join ...

Well what can I say. This place is unbelievable, in less than two hours I got the solution for my problem.

Thanx to Inertiae, Demarc, Fortitude and Borogovio for takig the time to read my problem.

Special thanx to Borogovio for the attached HJSPLIT. It was not compresed, just splited. This utility did the job

Man I love this place, and I can't imagine me without it. I Was away for almost a year (used to visit The "legal" (without warez) version run by the 1stEnglishman). I come back and find those two excelent forums better than ever. Hope this home can stand anything :D , that tries to destroy it.
