Help need badly burning MP3 to Audio discs.

Hi all,
First post here and its a call for help.

I am having trouble burning MP3 tracks to play in my hifi. The discs play correctly on my computer but refuse to play on the hifi cd. This problem has only recently appeared, so I know that the cd can play the discs OK, indeed it still plays discs record previously.

I am using a plextor 2410, with Nero 5578, on Windows XP.
Athalon 1800+, Abit KR7 raid MB, 768 Mb Ram.

Any help would be most welcome as this is driving me mad.

Cheers Tilcat

try this

I presume you are finalising the cd???

which app are you using to convert mp3 to audio???

try nero usally works (but quality varies)

i found acoustica products good for this....

Try any of the WinonCD packages, drag and drop the same as nero. there is a checkbox to finalize CD when Finished. hope this helps

Thanks

Thanks all for your help, think I have sorted it out now. I checked everything except the discs I was using which were of a new brand "PRINCO". Used a different type and everything is back to noraml.

You lot are great to help out a newbie so quickly.

this subject are kinda interesting...

it`s a well known fact that lame do the best encoding/decoding..

so why do ppl. settle for Frounhofer...

ther exists several cdr/w(utils/smal-apps) that support lame

but i will sugest you try out any of these tree..

a. Feurio (ttp://www.feurio.de)

b. EAC (ttp://www.exactaudiocopy.de)

c. MyMp3 (ttp://www.steinberg.net)

both feurio & EAC also supports ripping..

BTW:
